Treasure your Chest

The team at Coldwell Banker BVI wanted to show their support and raise awareness for Breast Cancer this October and did so by walking the 11th ‘Walk for the Cure’ in the British Virgin Islands and shot our ‘Treasure your Chest’ campaign.

Using some of our favourite properties and some very generous friends over on Moskito Island, we did a photoshoot all dressed in pink with our very own ‘Treasure Chest’.

Breast Cancer is one of the most common types of cancer and affects adult women all over the world – it is estimated 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. In the US, the death rate is the highest amongst any other cancer but this has shown a 1% decline in the past few years which means the support and money raised for the cause is moving in the right direction.
About 85% of breast cancers occur in women with no family history and 5-10% occur due to known gene mutations from a Mother or Father.
