Almost a hundred guests sampled delicacies from nine different establishments, at the launch of the British Virgin Islands newest cookbook, entitled, Taste.
The participants included Cooper Island Beach Club, Golden Pavilion Villa, Good Moon Farm, daysail yacht Kuralu, Myett’s Garden Grille, Peter Island Resort & Spa, Sunset Watch Villa and YCCS Marina, Virgin Gorda.
Chefs prepared recipes from the cookbook, including such treats as Mahi Napoleon with Rasta Rice and Tomato Basil Vinaigrette, Potted Rabbit & Rabbit Spring Rolls, and Asian Chicken Skewers.
Editor Traci O’Dea said, “We could not have such a great cookbook without such great chefs. I loved seeing their recipes come to life at Old Government House Museum.”
Any body was welcome including those on their BVI VACATION and all received a copy of Taste along with other goodies in bags donated by WorldHouse Caribbean. The launch will be featured on Chef Lisa Mead’s television program Galley Cooking with Chef Lisa.
