The H. Lavity Stoutt Community College offers 4 moe events to finish off the 16th Performing Arts Series. The Performing Arts Series at HLSCC was conceived in 1994 as a way of exposing the British Virgin Islands community to a wide range of world-class musical presentations not readily available in the Territory. Initially, the Atrium of the College’s Administrative building was chosen as the stage for these presentations and, although there were several jazz groups included in each season’s programmes, the title has remained ‘Classics in the Atrium.’

In recent years, with a new 420-seat capacity auditorium at the Paraquita Bay Campus, there has been an expanded range of performances, such as dance groups and larger musical ensembles. Theatrical presentations have also been hosted by various groups in collaboration with the College.

During last season, there were 15 performances featuring gospel music, classical, jazz, soca, a Chinese dance group, a local performer, and the College ensembles.

Don’t miss seeing one of the remaining performances this year:

Saturday March 19

Saturday April 1

Saturday May 28
