There has been a demise of the special community spirit in the BVI that many in the Territory grew up with.
However, it seems that given the right opportunity, individuals living in TORTOLA RENTALS and businesses are more than willing to dig deep and give up their time to help.
The Governor and his staff decided to mark the festive season, by coordinating a project involving the many local businesses that were keen to support community initiatives.
Coordinator, Vincent Wheatley identified a family on Virgin Gorda, who would benefit from some assistance with their house and garden, a date was set and the phone calls to local companies began.
The Moorings offered a boat to transport the workers across to Virgin Gorda, and Clarence Thomas, Qwomar and Caribbean Colors provided all the paint and tools they needed to give the house a perfect paint job. While Minnies provided a host of lovely plants, to get the garden back to its best.
