H. Lavity Stoutt Community College in BVI is partnering with a number of local businesses and members of the community to host a major health fair at its Paraquita Bay Campus on Tortola, Tuesday, March 22. The fair has the theme, ‘Live well – Be well!’ and will be open from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
The aim of the fair is to present information and products that encourage wise health choices, support good health, encourage active health maintenance, and prevent illness. ‘The approach is intended to be holistic, exploring as many aspects of healthy living as can be accommodated throughout the event,’ reported Campus Health Nurse Vessilee Mathavious. ‘With support from our local businesses and residents, we are bringing health information and services not only to create a healthy campus, but for a healthy community as well.’
