Sunsail and Sail magazine announced a new partnership called Flotilla Adventures, a series of flotilla sailing charters in the British Virgin Islands.
The themed vacations will begin with a Family Fun flotilla in June, followed by an Action/Adventure flotilla in November. Each trip will feature a Sail host, as well as a Sunsail captain and host.
‘Flotilla Adventures offers a new sailing experience to the large market of sailors interested in a sailing vacation,’ Sail publisher Josh Adams said. ‘This partnership combines Sunsail’s vast flotilla experience with a Sail expert to create a memorable sailing week.’
Flotilla Adventures kicks off June 10-17 with the ‘Family Fun’ island-hopping flotilla adventure, hosted by SAIL’s charter editor, Meredith Laitos. Meredith and the Sunsail crew will lead the flotilla in a week of hands-on sailing for both kids and parents, windsurfing, stand up paddling the Baths, snorkeling, treasure hunts under sail, dinghy races at the Bitter End Yacht Club, and more.
