The Royal BVI Yacht Club (RBVIYC) junior sailing programme were pleased to receive their first financial contribution courtesy of Sol Petroleum and Nanny Kay. Country manager for Sol, Deborah Benjamin and Nanny Cay boatyard manager, Keith LiGreci, recently joined the young sailors at Nanny Cay beach to present them with the first quarterly installment.

The two businesses had agreed to make contributions to the RBVIYC earlier this year, from every gallon of fuel sold at the Nanny Cay marina, much to the delight of the children. Benjamin Stated, ‘to see the pleasure of the children and to watch them on the water, it is then you can see just how much and how welcoming the contributions help the RBVIYC and how much more they can achieve. Sailing is an activity that should be part and parcel of living in the BVI and we staunchly support efforts to expand the experience to the young sailors of this community.’

Whatever your age, skill level or knowledge, we welcome anyone with a desire to ‘get out on the water!’ With arguably the best sailing location and conditions in the world, on the beautiful waters of the Caribbean Sea, we believe there is no better place to sail.
